Freeze-drying is a process that enables you to remove the moisture from products without cooking. The product is first frozen and then put into a freeze dryer. Inside the freeze dryer, powerful pumps create a vacuum and extremely cold temperature. Very low levels of heat are applied to the shelves on which the trays of product sit, enabling the ice within the meat to "sublimate" directly into water vapor, skipping the liquid stage. The product changes from frozen to freeze-dried without ever being thawed or cooked, thereby retaining all of the nutritional value of raw meat, minus the water. Proper handling of raw foods is essential since some raw food may contain bacteria that could cause illness to you or your pets. Be sure to keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash hands prior to, and after handling raw food. Wash working surfaces, bowls, and utensils that come in contact with raw meat with hot, soapy water. Always wash your hands after cleaning your pet's waste; this includes litter boxes.
Any food not eaten within 30 minutes of offering should be discarded. Wash your pet's bowl with hot, soapy water after each feeding.
Recommended Feeding:
10 lbs.- 3 patties
20 lbs.- 5 patties
40 lbs.- 9 patties
60 lbs.-12 patties
Feed puppies and lactating females 2-3 times more.

If this is your first time using Stella & Chewy's, transition your pet slowly. Mix the new food with the old food product for 5-7 days (gradually increasing amount).
